15 Weeks - 37.5 contact hours.The course combines three aspects of web site creation into one intensive course. The first part of the course focuses on creating web pages using Dreamweaver. The course delves into HTML and Cascading Style Sheets as well as best practices in creating web sites while teaching the most effective ways to use Dreamweaver. The second part of the course focuses on Adobe Flash and creating dynamic Flash-driven pages. The course introduces the student to programming with ActionScript as well as teaching the ins-and-outs of Adobe's Flash software. The final portion of the course teaches how to create a well-designed web site, whether in HTML or Flash, from the user's standpoint. This portion of the class examines the user-centric approach to web design to create fully accessible sites that are not just usable, but are user-friendly.
