Now that you have learned the basics of using InDesign, put it to practical use! You will begin the workshop by going over features, tips, tricks and customized techniques using design exercises. During the second day, a design challenge will be issued based upon the previous lesson.

12 contact hours. In this workshop you will expand on your knowledge of web design using advanced layout, CSS and XHTML techniques. In it you will cover such things as flexible layouts, designing without tables, and browser compatibility. You will apply Javascript for livelier sites and we'll cover the fundamentals of designing for dynamic content. You'll look at options for building dynamic, user-friendly, successful and complete websites, rather than collections of web pages. To better succeed in this workshop, you should have at least an introductory knowledge of HTML and CSS. Instructor: Alex Brown.
