Kate Thiel

I would say that sometimes my approach to a piece comes from seemingly arbitrary connections between two ideas, who’s union generate a new idea, sometimes my approach is more concept-heavy; having to do with a specific philosophy and questioning how to give form to those ideas, and then sometimes my approach is very intuitive and has nothing to do with anything other than myself. I don't have a formula.

Caleb Gilbert
