Free Classes

With fun, creative, hands-on activities led by RMCAD faculty members and continuing education instructors, you will get a chance to explore different areas of art and design, build your skills and interact with other students who share your passion for art.

While these programs are free, registration is required. Sign up for as many sessions as you like. You will be asked to pay a small supply fee when you register to cover the cost of materials provided in the workshop.

    Learn about 3-D computer animation using Maya, the most widely used 3D software in the animation industry. Using state-of-the-art 3-D workstations, students will explore model making, surfacing with color, and key-framing animation.

    Come explore the impact of COLOR in interior design! This workshop includes a short introductory lecture, a visit to the ‘light box' to see how light affects color rendition and a hands-on exercise in which you will demonstrate the visual effects of the color wheel and color schemes in an interior space.
