10 Weeks - 25 contact hours. Students will be introduced to the basic elements and principles of good interior design including space planning, color, lighting, material schemes, furniture selection and art and accessories. Emphasis will be on the ability to analyze and evaluate any residential interior space and to determine design talent potential. Students will work on a design project of their own choice.
