Instructors: Duc Huynh and Kimberlee Lynch. Formally known as Desk Top Publishing, this Certificate is for anyone interested in professional development in Graphic Design. This is a 15-week intensive program divided into four sections of comprehensive study in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and the Principles and Elements of Graphic Design in Print Media. Through a succession of hands-on projects, the focus will be on how programs are used in the design/print media setting, understanding the importance of communicating visually and building a solid graphic design foundation. Participants' final project will be designing and creating a 4-page newsletter. Class attendance and project completion is required. Students should have introductory experience in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator prior to taking this class.
