Course Number:
CE201-F
Credits:
0
Start Date:
12/13/2008

Originality in the visual arts and especially in your portfolio is of utmost importance. Reviewers want to see and understand your thoughts and reasons for the choices you made in creating your art. What makes motivates and inspires you as an artist? What do you want to say with your art? And why do you do what you do? Then, how do you go about presenting yourself and your art work? The first half of this day long workshop will focus on understanding the meaning of originality and how to convey that in your art work. The second half will take an in-depth look at how to present your collective body of art work, what to keep in mind and what details to pay attention to when pulling your work together to create your end portfolio.
